Why Kerrie Stanley is a Must-See at HAIR The Movement
“I’m thrilled to welcome Kerrie Stanley to the panel for Journey to the Top! Kerrie is someone whose career has taken her on the most fascinating path, from her beginnings as a young apprentice hairdresser to becoming a celebrated wig specialist, hair and makeup artist, milliner, and even a broadcaster (who, by the way, has a fabulous love for all things pink).
Kerrie has always stood out for her incredible creativity and talent, which has allowed her to thrive in the world of live theatre and TV—facets of the industry where hairdressers can truly spread their wings and explore new artistic horizons. Currently, she’s heading up the hair and design for Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney, bringing her vision and expertise to one of the world’s most iconic productions.
What I love about Kerrie’s story is how it highlights the diversity of career paths available to hairdressers. Having known Kerrie for many years, I can say with confidence that she’s not only an inspiration but also someone who will spark ideas and new possibilities for anyone listening to her. I can’t wait for her to share her insights with us!” Sharon Blain
